Chance with Python: Password Generators, Mad Libs, and More!
In this workshop, you will learn about randomness and chance in computer programming, and how it can help make your code wacky and fun! You will use Python, a text-based coding language, to generate your own cool passwords with the power of random numbers. We will even create some cool mad libs and let the computer add random words to result in a hilarious story!
This virtual workshop is intended for girls and non-binary students in grades 6-9, but 5th graders who are interested and able to focus for the duration of the workshop are welcome. No prior programming experience is required.
